Festival of light - park manager

The Chickasha Festival of Light is seeking a Park Manager to oversee the nightly operations of a busy Holiday festival. This individual will be directly responsible for handling all issues and concerns that may arise with guests, park rules, broken/unplugged lights, park traffic, security, volunteers, and all food and vendor attractions. 

Temporary / November 22 – December 31, 2019 

• Supervise the assignments and performance of all security positions, ice rink employees and Festival volunteers
• Ensure the execution of established safety, security, quality, and operational policies and procedures 
• Conduct walk-through's to confirm the park is well maintained, all light strands are working, and guest areas have an atmosphere that meets or exceeds expectations; document needed repairs to Executive Director in nightly report
• Step in to help with Ice Rink, Security or Volunteer Shifts when needed
• Work as liaison between the food/attraction vendors and the Festival of Light; document any concerns to Executive Director in nightly report

• 3-4 years of experience working in a front-line customer experience setting preferred
• 3-4 years of experience working in a managerial or leadership role preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College level course-work in a related field is preferred
• Performs well under pressure and can effectively multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Available for the entire term of the season, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work outside in varying weather, including cold and snow

This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling in varying weather conditions.

• Handle guest issues and call in professional help when needed
• Conduct walk-through's to confirm the park is well maintained, all light strands are working, and guest areas have an atmosphere that meets or exceeds expectations; report issues to Security Lead
• Assist Park Manager and Security Lead with the operation and flow of traffic throughout the park, including directing traffic, assisting in the crosswalks, and closing parking lots, when necessary

• Two years of experience working in a front-line customer experience setting preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Performs well under pressure and can effectively multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor
• Available for the entire term of the season, including nights, weekends, and holidays

The Chickasha Festival of Light is seeking Ice Hut Employees to assist guest in the collection of rental and admission fees associated with the ice rink. They will be responsible for processing all payment transaction, pass out rented skates, and clean and restock skates after each usage. 

Temporary / November 22 – December 31, 2019 

• Responsible for processing all payment transaction, pass out rented skates, and clean and restock skates after each usage
• Ensure all guests abide by established safety policies and procedures 
• Help Ice Rink Maintenance Supervisor perform maintenance of the ice rink, when necessary 

• Two years of experience working in a front-line customer experience setting preferred
• Experience with ice-skating preferred 
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Performs well under pressure and can effectively multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor
• Available for the entire term of the season, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work outside in varying weather, including cold and snow
